Keyboard shortcuts

AI Prompt Dock is keyboard-first. The whole dock can be driven without a mouse once you know the chords below.

Global

Cmd / Ctrl + \	Toggle the dock (chats mode)
Cmd / Ctrl + ]	Open the prompt picker (prompts mode)
Esc	Clear search → clear selection → close dock

Chats mode (Finder-style list)

↑ + ↓	Move selection up/down
→	Drill into the selected folder
←	Go back to the parent folder
Enter	Open selected folder or chat
Home + End	Jump to first / last row
Backspace	From outside search: drain the query, focus search
Type any letter	Type-to-search (Finder-style)
Cmd / Ctrl + click	Toggle selection of a row
Shift + click	Extend selection to a row
Double-click	Open folder or chat

Prompts mode

↑ + ↓	Move selection in the list
Enter	Insert the selected prompt
Double-click	Insert (or open variable form if the prompt has variables)
Cmd / Ctrl + Enter	Submit the variable form
Esc	Cancel variable form / close picker

In any chat composer

/name + Tab

Expand a saved prompt by its slash command
